Looking for the Blessed Hope

Paul, to Titus:

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

God of Grace,

May we deny ungodliness and worldly lusts.
May we live soberly, righteously, and godly.
May we look for the blessed hope and Your glorious appearing.

Reveal Yourself

Amen

Today I am reading: I Timothy 5, 6; Titus 1 – 3

    Titus 2
11For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Gracious Lord I thank You for your Great Grace and Mercy. Teach me Your way Lord. Purify me Lord, use me as Your tool to say and do what You would have me do. I love You Lord, I need You. I desire to have Your Spirit live and work within me. Amen
